An interactive and responsive web application that allows users to explore detailed information about countries around the world through a dynamic map interface. The application allows users to select a country they’re interested in and explore various types of information through interactive modals. Users can view key details such as the capital city, population, and currency. The app also provides real-time weather forecasts for the next three days in the capital, as well as access to the latest news related to the selected country. A curated image gallery offers visual insights, while a built-in currency converter helps compare exchange rates across different currencies. Additionally, the map includes optional layers such as, cities, airports, and hospitals, which can be toggled on and explored interactively with precise location pointers.

How It Works:

Detects User Location: On page load, JavaScript uses the browser's geolocation to determine the user’s current location.

Gets Country Info: Coordinates are sent to PHP, which calls the OpenCage API to identify the country.

Loads Map and Borders: Country borders are retrieved from a GeoJSON file and displayed using Leaflet.js.

Displays Key Data: API calls retrieve and show:

• Capital, population, and currency (via CountryAPI)
• 3-day weather forecast (via OpenWeather)
• Currency exchange rates (via Freecurrency API)
• News, Wikipedia, and nearby places (via GNews)
• Country images (via Pexels)

Interactive Search: Users can search and select other countries from a dropdown to update map and data.

Map Features: Shows layers like cities, airports, hospitals and etc. using custom icons and markers

Responsive Design: Built with Bootstrap for full-screen, one-page layout that works on all devices.

How It Works:

The dashboard offers quick access to employees, positions, departments, and locations. Data is fetched via PHP from a MySQL database. Users can search, view, add, edit, update the page and delete employee profiles and link them to roles, departments, and office locations. Each view is interconnected and designed for easy navigation and management.

After selecting a test, users can choose whether they want a phlebotomist visit for sample collection and whether they’d like a GP report to help interpret their results. Each order is securely connected to a certified laboratory, ensuring accurate testing and reliable results.
